TopIn June, 1998, my husband and i went to work and left our 5 year old collie in the fenced-in portion of our yard. When we came home, there was a pesticide sign on the lawn meaning that our property had been sprayed. This was an error to start with as we had not requested spraying that year. I noticed that the sprayer had sprayed all around the dog's kennel. The next morning, the dog was coughing in a way that I had never heard before. To make a long story short, the dog died a most horrible death. The sprayer admitted that he had sprayed with the dog barking at him, two feet away. The wind that day was 50 k/hr. Cisco's blood vessels started leaking and he had yellow liquid going around his lungs, into his testicles and leaking out of every pore in his body. Cisco died in August, 1998. The poison that was sprayed was Par III which is a mixture of 2,4-D, dicamba, mecoprop and inerts. He was a beautiful dog and didn't deserve to die this way. If you need more info, do not hesitate to contact me.
Sincerely, Paddy Horan
