FAMILY OF 6 POISONED BY DURSBAN IN DESPERATE NEED OF HELP Family of 6 poisoned by dursban in desperate need of help. Left mother and father too disabled to work.  The 4 children are too sensitive to be able to go to school.  This family is in great need of help and has been for a long time.  The children don't have any beds to sleep on because of the dursban poisoning, they lost everything and they cant afford to replace them.  Some of the children are in pain from this illness and not having beds to sleep on makes their suffering that much worse.  I am asking if everyone could please help them.  Its bad enough to have this illness as an adult, but for a child its heartbreaking.  I realize everyone is having a hard time right now and i empathize with you all, yet if everyone could get together and send a donation in any amount we as an E.I. community can provide the children with the beds they need.  It would help them out so much.

The poisoning took place at the workplace (Florida supermarket bakery plant) of my husband. The chemical was liberally applied in and around his workspace daily for a period of more than ten years. I also carried three of our four children during his employment with this company.

The three have many health problems including; neuro-motor dysfunction, reactive airways disease, chemical sensitivity, allergies, GI problems. chronic headaches and various other kinds of pain.

Our fourth child was born after the exposure had ended (my husband too ill to work anymore).  She has been diagnosed with some asthma and allergies but not any of the neuro damage.

He must have carried these chemicals home on his clothing also. Not knowing it was there (an odor masking agent had been included in this toxic mixture) I washed our clothing with his. I have read since then that it is well known that these chemicals can also be transferred through clothes washing.

He worked in a FOOD manufacturing plant.

Thanks again for posting this and please send it to anyone that might be able to help us.

In Peace Karen
