Flea Fogger... Leaves user feeling ill
pesticide now suffers
irritable laryngospasms
I have a question & just want information. I was a bit careless when using a
flea fogger--I just shook the can & let the spray go directly to the rug in different parts of the house, walking about & letting it be applied to get
rid of fleas. We opened windows & had fans going but didn't leave the house.
So: the rooms had not been "bombed"...the RUGS had been sprayed with the bomb. A couple of hours later I laid down in one of the sprayed rooms to
sleep. By then, windows were closed & AC was going. A couple of hours later,
I awoke with vertigo, repeated vomiting, & some diarrhea. Not certain of the
cause, I moved to a room that had not been sprayed & felt better, but several
hours have passed, the worst symptoms have passed, but my stomach is sensitive, & I don't feel "wonderful" yet. The first listed ingredient in
the fogger is pyrethrins. Any input on this? Do I presume if I am careful in the
future, my residual reactions will just go away? Thanks. gilly
