Over the past 8 yrs I have spent probably close to a thousand dollars on these products, that is not including man power to de-louse my house. the very first time my children got head lice I went straight to my dr. He prescribed a shampoo, I read the instructions do what I was suppose to do. the lice combs don't work either it say that it will pull out the bugs and nits. It does pull out the bugs and HAIR but not nits. You have to nit-pick for hours. I believe the name of the shampoo was quell. that did not work because while I nit=picked I found live bugs also. then through the yrs I have tried rid, R&C, store brands (who really can afford that stuff at $6.00 to $15.00 a bottle X 3 children) than nix came on the market the cream rinse. its suppose to work better because it thicker and blah, blah, blah. Every time I have use those products I have found live bugs. Granted I have also found dead bugs too but more alive than dead. The shampoos have burned my kids scalps (rid) dried their hair out, that it was impossible to run a comb through it until I conditioned there hair at least twice. My son has ADHD and these shampoos made his ADHD worse after putting it in his hair he was uncontrollable for almost a week each time.
