RID, NIX and CLEAR, Pronto... Mother poisoned

I kept using rid, nix, pronto, and clear products alternating their use. I followed the directions including spraying my house and washing all personal items as directed.
The products did not kill the lice. I finally used a home remedy of cooking oil on the hair and combing out the lice. Then I found not nice to lice and it has worked wonders. The schools however require treating with chemicals, which I feel may cause harm to my children. I became very sick after treating my daughter's hair.
This reaction was with nix, pronto, clear, and rid products. I would feel weak, by hands would be numb and I would feel as if my insides were shaking. This would last from 24 to 48 hours. Then I would feel tired.
