Lake county Florida in 1998 I was put on a spray crew and sprayed for three weeks in 100* + weather. I worked for the div. of forestry in Florida and we were helping the Dept of plant industrials because they did not have enough personal to do the job.

The Malathion we were using was super heated while it sat in the warehouse which turned it into a lethal nerve agent. Well while spraying in lake county I began to get sick. I had flu like symptoms but no flu. I came down with an upper respiratory infection. with dizziness, headache, diarrhea.

Since the spraying I have been too four M.D's and three psychiatric doctors. two PhD's 

Now it's almost yr. 2003 and I'm still suffering flu like symptoms. I still have headaches. I suffer from memory loss. I have central nervous system disorder. My brain feels numb all the time. I have moodiness and behavioral abnormalities. I fatigue very easy. I don't like being around anyone. I can't sleep without pills or I will wake up and my brain will start racing. Some times the pills don't work. and I wake up at 3:00am 4:00am and can't get back to sleep.

I down right hate it! all of it. My doctors say I will have to live like this the rest of my life. I went to a mental hospital because I was feeling suicidal. It helped me a lot like how to cope with my poisoning,  but  if I would have know how poison malathion was I would have said no or would have quit my job. oh I sprayed for two weeks and stopped. I thought it was the end of the spraying, and then my boss Tom W. called me at my house and told me I had to go spray again even though I told him I was sick and that's after I went to the doctors with an upper R I. He said if I did not go then he would fire me or the way he put it. I would be out the gate. Nice guy.
