I used nix since it was supposed to remain for 14 days. The next day, I found more eggs and nits. The following day, I used nix again, as per dr.'s orders. 2 days later, they were still itching. I then tried rid gel. 3 ! days later they were itching and I found live lice. The dr. then prescribed malathion. At $59 a bottle for each of my kids, the smell was horrific, and the youngest one cried for 1/2 an hour that it burned her scalp. I still see nits in her hair and am at the end of my rope.
