Please can you help- am trying to find into that might help me.  I was two months pregnante when the owners of the house I was renting in 1995 was treated for major termite infestation.  They dug and drilled inside and out and pumped all kinds of nasty smelling stuff into and around the house- a two day ordeal. I asked if it was okay to stay here or should I move out for a couple of days.  He said just open up some windows. I did but it didn't help much.  I got major headaches and felt sick.  I also lost my symptoms of being pregnant but didn't think about the chemicals until now (4 yrs later).  When I went in for my 3 month check-up and to hear the heart beat they did an ultrasound and the baby had "Vanished" it was no longer in the sac.  I was showing no signs of aborting (they ended up having to do a D & C-because the placenta was still firmly attached and growing) it just was not supporting a life form.  Please if you know of information. I can find to see if chemical made my baby disintegrate would appreciate your help.

Hope you are well.  It is has been a while since we have talked.  I always feel bad for people like this; however, the probability of finding "evidence" which will withstand scientific scrutiny is slim.  The defense would fall back on one in every four pregnancies ends in spontaneous abortion.  If this woman had medical documentation from the OB/GYN and blood work indicating a toxic exposure the case "could" be pursued.  That is, however, a big IF.
