I am investigating chemicals which were used in my
daughter's rental property. She
recently moved into a house, previous owners had a dog/s)?), and after a
couple of days, she discovered, due to numerous bites around her feet and
ankles, that the place was hugely infested, garden and house, by fleas.
She contacted the landlady, and it was arranged that the property would
be sprayed by a pest control person.
This was carried out; however, a week later my daughter experienced
fresh bites - and on checking discovered the fleas were still infesting the
place. The landlady
ordered another spray. My
daughter was horrified when she got home, after the pestman had been,
to find that her bedding had been sprayed, it was damp, and a couple of
days later she developed a cough, which she didn't initial take any notice of
as she had been a little under the weather with a cold a few weeks back and
she put it down to a recurrence of the cold.
However, she then noticed a pattern to the coughing, ie at work or
anywhere else, no cough, at home, severe constant coughing. Now, it could well
be that the cough is a residue of being with cold, but I want to find out
about these chemicals, in case the cough is related to them.
I am telling you this story to give you an idea of what
has taken place. I have
since phoned the pest man, and asked him what chemicals he uses in the same
circumstances. And have
ascertained the following:
OUTSIDE SPRAYING:
Pyrhyfos / Chloryrifos
INSIDE
: Permethrin
and 'Ingrow Regulator'
I was a little underhanded, I must confess, when I rang
the spray man - I pretended I was looking for a company to spray my place.
So the Ingrow Regulator, is all I have to go on, simply because the man
was not in his office just now when I rang and couldn't recall chemicals used
in the IR stuff. I am moved to get some answers in case the chemicals
have been damaging to my daughter's health, in which case I will begin certain
actions to help my daughter's body to countfight the damage.
I would appreciate any informations you can give me about
these chemicals and the known side effects, and if you know what the Ingrow
Regulator is, perhaps you will beable to tell me what it is.
I am very much into natural healing, and the use of nutritional
supplements, etc. so I will take this path should my daughter be in any way
damaged.
