Subject: Tallon Termite and Pest Control

Almost four years ago I was poisoned by Power Plant, an insecticide used by Tallon Termite and Pest Control when they came to "freeze" the termites in my home.  Power Plant is the terpene d-limonene and, when oxidized, becomes a very potent sensitizer.  I had to move out of my home for three months and have had respiratory problems ever since.  Recently, I was in contact with another individual who became very seriously ill when Tallon did the exact same thing to her.  She thought the company was going to "freeze" the termites, but also used the "natural" pesticide, Power Plant.  Within two days she was violently ill, and ultimately had to sell her home as she could not move back in.   I won a lawsuit against Tallon, and, at the time, the EPA was investigating their registration.

I understand it is required by law that the registrant of a pesticide (Power Plant is registered by Tallon) must report any adverse reaction.  How can I find out if Tallon did in fact report the adverse reaction from the second incidence noted above?  They knew about my illness only because I reported it to the EPA.

Also, are you aware of others who have become ill from Power Plant or similar pesticides containing d-limonene?

Thank you for your response.

PS:  I heard you speak last year in Santa Barbara.  We are lucky there are people like you who are not afraid to speak out about the dangers we all face every day from chemicals.
