After football practice... young boy dies in sleep

My 15 year old nephew died in his sleep this past week after practicing football.  He was hit on the bridge of his nose by the top of his helmet but there was no nosebleed.  The autopsy was inconclusive on any vital organ problems or the fact that his injury to his nose was a contributing factor.  Blood tests are now in the making for cause of death.  I am wondering if a certain pesticide or chemical used on the ball field could have caused his death so suddenly.  After practice he did not shower at the gym but went home and showered and ate a good dinner, watched a tv program, and talked to a couple of friends on the phone.  His sister advised he was acting a little more tired than usual.  Is there a possible link to the pesticides used...........maybe his mouth piece was set down in a concentrated area and he therefore injested it by accident.  A lot of times when I would go to football games especially when it is hot and humid, I can smell the pesticides steaming up from the field.  Thank you for your time.

RESPONSE FROM STEVE:

I am not a Doctor but, I have had many toxiclogists and medical doctors tell me that pesticides can cause heart attacks and/or breathing problems. Ask the question in reverse, it is now considered to be fairly common for children to die after engaging in "healthy" outdoor activities, when did you
hear of this before "they" began to spray the playing fields with "registered" pesticide poisons? I never heard of such a thing happening, that I personally recall fifty or more years ago. Today, to hear about
athletic children dying "mysteriously" after "healthy" outdoor exercise is fairly common. My uncle died of a heart attack right after he sprayed pesticides. Co-incidence? It is extremely hard to find a Doctor to list pesticides as the cause of death. I am sorry to hear of your loss, no matter what the cause. I lost a son. Steve
