In July 1982 I was working for a hospital at one of their buildings the nuns I took care of there was some that came down with scabies. They made it mandatory that everyone use this. We had to sign a paper and return it stating we used it before we came back to work. I was 5 weeks pregnant and I told them I was and they said you are fine go ahead and use it. They filled the bottle at their pharmacy in which I got an 8oz bottle because they were using up some of the bottles. They said to put this crap on head to toe. Well it ended on my head 12 hours on my body for 12 hours after a hot shower and applied body lotion for dry skin which made it absorb more. It can cause seizures after putting it on your head for 3 minutes. It is not to go on the head for lice treatment for any more than 3 minutes. Out of the eight ounces I remember an ounce being left. Your not suppose use 1 ounce. As time went on I was deathly sick and doctors could never find out what was wrong, my daughter every time she went to the doctor they found something wrong. They had her going to 6 doctors at one time never anyone explaining what they were finding. It didn't dawn on me until she was 15 years old about the lindane. When I checked into it everything for her and I things started falling into place one after another. Then the last doc she went to diagnosis her with the frontal lobe damage and I was thinking not something else. Then I called back and got the nurse and I asked the nurse why does the doctor think she has this damage and she said you used lindane didn't you. This has been horrible. My daughter also had cyst on her ovaries even before she started her menses. My daughter was diagnosed with multiple behavior disorders being tested. Right frontal lobe damage, which probably explains some of the disorders she was diagnosis with. One part of her IQ is low. Her right frontal lobe moves slow. She has a duplication of the urethras and filtering systems that come down from the kidneys. All the embarrassment and chronic wetting we won't even go into. That was hell itself lasting all through her teens. She has a repeated positive ana test that are antibodies we are not really suppose to have which could mean lupus, leukemia. Or others. She had a biopsy of some lumps in her neck which they said something toxic but still unknown. She has had bone and muscle pain. Problems staying a sleep problems with eating but no disorders there, headaches vision problems since she was 18 months and they said she would go blind. A higher count in her spinal fluid of white count. She has been diagnosed from the last dr. Of the organic brain injury and said it was from the lindane. That's when they had put her in the hospital for 10 months. It was 200 mile trip for me. We found out through medical records that when we suspected she might have been a twin because the way I carried her and rapid weight in the very beginning and besides that we have a large amount of twins in our family.
My mom said I looked like I was carrying her like a twin she had seen so many, I said mom they only see one baby. Well anyway it might explain why I doubled over in the kitchen a week after I used this crap. On the biopsy and I didn't find out till later they found clots and dead tissue on the placenta. I could go on about the pregnancy will tell you later the other things. I became very ill vomiting couldn't breathe and other things in the pregnancy. I became very ill with my kidneys and they couldn't tell me why. I was here and not here. Couldn't climb up stairs. There was many other things. Well to this day I have multiple health problems and damage throughout my body. I take more medicine than an old person and I am not even near to getting old yet. Now this MRI is showing white spots which the nero doc thinks it is MS or Lou Gehrig disease. Yep I am scared to death. I try to get the docs to take me off some of this medicine and just can't do it or I will be in trouble. So right now I take 27 pills a day. It gets depressing to be in this kind of health. I also have tremors and seizures that I have had since I used the lindane. They just worsened to the point the earth is doing some heavy rockin and can't hardly walk trying to get somewhere to sit down. I have been colorblind since this chemical. I can go on and on. My daughter has spindle fingers and stumped looking feet. We both have an enormous amount of problems. I could keep going. These are diagnoses made after the lindane. I was in perfect health going to the spa three times a week. My insides feel like I am 85 years old if not more. It breaks my heart to see the pain in my daughters eyes. I have a list of the diagnosis of both of us. Maybe some will hit home. I'll get it later. Susan
